Dr. Jeffery Lant, CEO of Worldprofit, Inc. and acknowledged expert on the British Royal Family has been interviewed by the New England Cable Network also known as NECN.
Dr. Lant has been called upon many occasions over the years to provide commentary on events surrounding the British Royal Family, and news of a royal wedding seems to be an event worthy of his comments. There has been much speculation concerning the status of Prince William and Kate Middleton his longtime girl friend and favorite of the Queen.
It is now official with the announcement that Prince William (28) has become engaged to his longtime girlfriend Miss. Kate Middleton (28); the couple will marry in the Spring of 2011. The news came from the official residence this morning as it was confirmed that the couple has engaged since October while on holiday in Kenya.

The couple stood arm in arm as it was reported that the Prince and Miss. Middleton will reside in Wales and the Prince will continue to serve as a helicopter pilot in the Royal Air force. Queen Elizabeth is said to be delighted and the Crown Prince Charles of Wales said he is “thrilled, obviously” delighted, at the news as he joked, “they have been practicing long enough”.
In a profound move the Prince presented Miss Middleton with the engagement ring that belonged to his mother the late Princess of Wales Dianna Spencer. The ring is a diamond encrusted sapphire and seems appropriate as a gift to Miss Middleton and the people of Great Britain.
“It’s my mother’s engagement ring, so of course it’s very special to me, and Kate’s now very special to me, so it was only right to put the two together,” Explained the Prince on his decision.
Following the interview Dr. Lant spoke to Worldprofit members about his experience.
