I first became aware of Dean Jackson while taking advantage of a great opportunity offered by Joe Polish back in 2009. I was not previously aware of Dean but was immediately drawn to his back ground in Real Estate… I have a 26+ year career in the field prior to becoming a full-time Internet Marketer.

I was recently browsing Amazon’s online website looking for a couple of marketing books and ran across the follow review written by Dean Jackson. Many of the specifics about Dr. Lant’s business model especially the associated cost are out of date, but the core values and marketing concepts remain unchanged. I wanted to share this review with you because I think the examples are actionable.

Whenever I speak to Realtors and Mortgage brokers across the country, one of the things I am asked constantly, is “Why do you always recommend Jeffrey Lant’s books?”

As I shared in a previous post I have been online for nearly four years and was introduced to safelist mailers by George Kosch almost from day one on my journey. I attribute much of my success with safelist to being taught by George to cloak and track (testing) my advertising links in order to measure my results. By testing click through rates using dozens of safelist I have developed a list of about thirty that I use on a weekly basis. Although my list of thirty tried and true sites delivers consistent results, I am always looking for new sites to try new safelist and add those that convert to my list of powerful viral marketing resources.

In my last post, I talked about Safelists and how they are a powerful advertising strategy for Affiliate Marketers or anyone running a home based business. I also revealed how to get the best possible response from your Safelist Advertising.

Here’s a summary in case you missed it.

A Safelist is a Membership based mailing list where Members can email each other. These emails cannot be considered as spam because Member must opt-in to receive the mailings and also have confirmed their email address. A Safelist can be used to advertise a product or service, including business opportunities, affiliate programs, home business products, Clickbank products and so forth. Most Safelists work by allowing Members to earn credits for free advertising but also offer paid advertising options. Basic Membership in a Safelist is usually free. Paid memberships allow you to post more often, or to a larger list.

I’ve heard from many of you, requesting suggestions for reputable Safelist sites and companies. I share with you my Top 20 Safelists.

This is not just a list, mindlessly copied and pasted here. Remember, successful online promotion means consistent promotion to a number of sites or lists. Definitely join a number of Safelists to increase your reach. Make sure the ads you run include the benefits of what you offer, an eye-popping offer and a lead form ideally with opt-in options for your own list creation.

Safelist advertising is a powerful, effective advertising resource for affiliate marketers. Here’s why and how to maximize your responses.

A Safelist is a mailing list where Members can email each other. These emails cannot be considered as spam because Member must opt-in to receive the mailings and also have confirmed their email address. A Safelist can be used to advertise a product or service, including business opportunities, affiliate programs, home business products, Clickbank products and so forth. Most Safelists work by allowing Members to earn credits but also offer paid advertising. Basic Membership in a Safelist is usually free.

Benefits of Safelist Advertising

1. Affordable: Cost is ZERO to join most safelists. You can either surf to earn credits for your own advertising, or you can pay a very small cost for a paid subscription. Paid subscriptions allow you to post more often and to more people. If you can afford it get a paid subscription, cost can be as little as $10 and up.

2. Targeted: You reach a targeted audience of other home business folks, affiliate marketers, entrepreneurs and information seekers.

3. Legitimate: Once scoffed at as a cheesy time-wasting practice, Safelists are a legitimate marketing practice and have gained credibility and popularity. Spam laws have limited the number of ways to market a product or service. Safelist Advertising allows marketers to reach consumers easily and legitimately with their permission.

4. Variety: There are various forms of advertising available within Safelist programs. Members have many options for advertising affordably and this can include Text Ads, HTML ads, solo ads, banners, login ads, landing pages, ad rotations etc.

5. Reach: Creating your own in-house mailing list is ideal but does take an enormous amount of time and can be self-limiting to who is on your own list. To reach larger, new audiences, affiliate marketers have discovered the power of being able to post to a large legitimate list of people. To get better results from your Safelist advertising, here is what you need to know.

Always, always, always promote a LANDING PAGE and NOT your website when using Safelist Advertising. Remember you want to make an eye-popping offer and get an instant result. Your website can’t and won’t do that in most cases.

A Landing Page that will generate results includes:
-Attention Grabbing headline
-Point form, punchy copy thick with the benefits to the reader
-A call to action, DO THIS! GET THIS!
-Lead form to gather contact details of the person.
-Option to subscribe to your newsletter, or receive further special offers
-More copy than graphics so your page loads quickly and command attention with words not distracting unnecessary graphics.

When posting your ads, don’t rely on just one Safelist. If your funds are limited select 3 – 5 to get started and post as often as you can. If you have a dud ad that doesn’t get response, change it up, run a revised or different ad.

Make sure you have some type of ad tracking software so when you post and ad you can see the click-rate and analyze the effective of your ads. Many Safelists offer this tool for their Members.

The key to effective Safelist Advertising is three fold.

1) Get a paid subscription from a number of reputable Safelists so you can promote to larger audiences and more often.
2) Promote a well-written copy-dense Landing Page with minimal graphics. Emphasis is on eye-grabbing headline, benefit-laden copy, and ultra-fast loading.
3) Pick only reputable Safelists.

I upgraded my Worldprofit Silver membership to a Platinum VIP Membership in May 2010 after my first month with the company. Taking this action allowed me to make more money and access additional resources to build my businesses. Is Worldprofit a Scam or Legitimate?

I was recently conducting a Google search to explore some of the reviews for Worldprofit and noticed that many of the reviews presented inaccurate or out of date information. By reviewing the reviews, I find that the majority of the writers have never actually been a member of the program or base their decision strictly on their opinion of Dr. Jeffrey Lant, the CEO and company co-founder. As a result, most of these reviews, blog post, and articles lack credibility.

I regularly invest the time required to submit constructive comments offering another point of view from someone who has done extensive due diligence on Worldprofit and it’s founder. As a successful member of the community, I am not a non-biased reviewer… I love this program and have made consistent monthly income here.

I recently added my review to a site called “programcritique.com” and I wanted to share it with you here as follows:

I wanted to share my own personal experiences concerning Worldprofit, Dr. Jeffrey Lant (CEO), Sandi Hunter (President), and George Kosch (Tech Chief) as a Platinum Member since May 12, 2010. I have invested in the program financially in addition to my time working closely with Dr. Lant as a “live monitor,” which I believe qualifies me to render an informed opinion.

First, it is important to note that Worldprofit was completely transformed in late 2008 to early 2009 as Worldprofit partnered with Clickbank to become a major training and marketing platform for Clickbank products. In addition, the company made quantum leaps as a developer and provider of automated SEO and traffic generation systems.

The core product of Worldprofit is still their Silver Package ($99.95 month to month no contract) and their Platinum Package ($149.95 month to month no contract) and the sales support provided by the 24/7 Live Business Center, which is unique online.

Worldprofit was founded in August 1994 and for the past since 2000 has been fully Accredited by the Better Business Bureau maintaining an “A Rating” with no outstanding complaints.

In my observation almost all of the critical reviews of Worldprofit center on the often abrasive personality of Dr. Jeffrey Lant. I must admit that it took a little time to become comfortable with his manner. He is certainly impatient and often rude to visitors to Worldprofit. This fact has overshadowed the tremendous value the company represents for many people.

Although Dr. Lant represents a lightning rod for criticism, his dedication to Worldprofit‘s members and his expertise in the field of marketing is unquestioned and has been recommended by many top authors and business coaches. Dr. Lant has published 16 books and thousands of articles. He holds three degrees and is a Harvard Graduate.

I began to understand Dr. Lant as I began to view him like an athletic coach. When I was a kid, I recall my football coach would make some of the most unthinkable comments to me and my teammates. His intention was to help us break through our own self limiting beliefs about ourselves and fears to achieve results… to actually take action and accomplish something we said we wanted. This is exactly what Dr. Lant does and some people have difficulty accepting his approach.

The remaining company founders Sandi Hunter and George Kosch are phenomenal people who possess huge hearts for serving their members. Sandi Hunter is a highly respected graphic designer and George Kosch a brilliant innovator of web-based systems. Both are fully accessible to Worldprofit members.

The primary reason that I have been profitable every month since joining Worldprofit is because of their “Millionaire Bootcamp Training System” and integrated viral marketing platform. I personally utilize these resources to market a number of products and programs online beyond simply recruiting others into Worldprofit. The automated systems and traffic resources have allowed me to build my primary online business and a downline at Worldprofit from which I earn commissions.

Based on my experiences with both the company and it’s founders, I cannot foresee any reason why I would discontinue my membership at Worldprofit. I consider Dr. Lant and George Kosch as personal mentors and it would cost several hundred dollars per month to replace all of the systems and services included in my membership.

My advice to anyone considering membership at Worldprofit would be to attend a live webcast presentation of the business platform, be patient in your “final decision” about Dr. Lant and try not to take him too literally when it comes to his social style and temperament.

The best way to evaluate Worldprofit and determine it’s value would be to become a “Silver Package” member for a one month trial period, which will allow you to fully leverage the system and make an educated decision… personal to you.
